Friday, 11 August 1775 (Cambridge Chronicle) John Stickwood guilty of the murder Andrew Nunn (elsewhere Young) age 26, in Foulmire lane in the parish of Fowlmere on 10th July: knocking him down and beating him with an hay fork then stripping him and robbing him of clothing, a silver watch, a purse and some money. They had travelled together with Stickwood’s younger brother (who turned King’s Evidence) from London (Cambridge Chronicle Sat 15th July 1775).
